Is february a holiday month in china?

Hi there!
I am planning to visit the markets in gaungzhou, will be they open at this time of the year?

Sandra, it's unwise to visit the markets in Feb. You know, Chinese people celebrate their Spring Festival this month. The holiday starts from Feb. 6 to 13. However, the markets should be open after the Lantern Festival, to be precise, Feb. 22. If possible, you might come in March.
