About:Shenzhen Travel

Is English as popular in Shenzhen as in Hong Kong?

I am a U.S. student and plan to stay in SZ for 2 months. I took Mandarin classes from High school.
Is it enough for me to a regular communication there?

Actually, English in this city is not that as popular as in Hong Kong. But most people can understand simple English. Don't worry. And you can speak some Chinese, right? If yes, I believe that you can get along with local people very well. :-)
