Hi, What is the weather like in Early August 2016 in Taipei?

I am going there with my family (4 adults) from 2nd. to 7th of August in 2016. I was wondering how the weather will be like and whether it's better for outdoor activities or indoor activities. Also, does it rain a lot and what type of clothing should I bring?

Hello there. It will be hot and wet at that time. The highest temp may reach around 90F/32C, and frequent rainy days will take place (but it won't rain very heavily for a whole day). You should prepare enough summer clothing, sandals and rain gear. Another reminder is that it will be during typhoon season, so it is necessary to check the weather in advance. To my experience, both outdoor and indoor activities can be enjoyed by then. Do plan well.
