About:Packing Tips for Traveling China

I shall be travelling to Shanghai to work for a week starting on January 2016

Is a down jacket necessary for this period of 1 week. How much of clothes should I bring along? Are instant noodles, canned food allowed to be taken through the immigration?

Putra, you come from Singapore, right? If so, you'd better bring a down jacket. Historical weather records show that the temperature in January is from 1 to 8 Celsius Degrees. Beside your down jacket, you should bring windcoat, thick jacket, thin sweater or thick casual clothes.
