1. To be honest, June is not an ideal time because it is hot and it's the typhoon season. The best season for a visit is from late September to late December when the temeprature is moderate.
2. This is a good idea! You can go to Macau, Shenzhen, or Guangzhou.
3. You can find cheap and comfortable hotels, hostels, or inns near Tsim Sha Tsui area. Have a try!
4. For transportation, you are advised to buy standard octopus cards, with which you can take subway lines, buses, ferries, etc. The must-see attractions include Npong Ping 360, Ocean Park, The Peak, Tsim Sha Tsui, Causeway Bay, Lan Kwai Fong, Temple Street Night Market, Ladies' Market, etc. Have fun!
