About:Beijing Train Schedule

Is The Soft Sleeper Waiting Room crowded?

I am booked with my elderly dad in Soft Sleeper on T109 from Beijing to Shanghai. I have heard there is a waiting room for soft sleepers. Could I ask how crowded and clean it is in there. Also how easy is it to find a seat.
This is in BJ Station

The soft sleeper waiting room would better then normal waiting room since less people can use it. But it is still hard to say how easy to find a seat. If your are traveling during the rush date, there still may have many people there.
