please advice what other city is near to qingtao?

We are traveling to qingtao in March and we would like to cover few other city near qingtao. Which would you recommend and also the cost and transportation to get there.

How about Jinnan? It only needs less than 3 hours by high speed train from Qingdao to Jinnan.
