About:China Visa Exemption

We are Indian passport holders, have 8 hrs transit at Shanghai do we need visa

We are flying China Eastern from Kolkata to LA with transits at Kunming and Shanghai one of 2 hrs and one of 8hrs, do we need transit entry permits, and and can we get out of airport at Shanghai with any transit entry permit.

Saikat, you don't need the transit G type entry permit. When you are in Shanghai, you can apply for a temporary stay permit at the airport to go outside.
