About:10 Insider Tips for Great Wall Travel - Dos and Don¡¯ts

hi, I am taking a 13 year old to the Great Wall. Please recommend a place.

He has been to the mutianyu part and complains it is not challenging for him. He wants to visit a more rugged place that is has less tourists and is closer to the city. thanks

Titus, Badaling section is closer to the city. However, there are many tourists compared with Mutianyu. I personally think that you might take your kid to visit Jinshanling section, where original appearance of the wall is well-protected.
