About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

Is the 114 hour policy currently in effect in Shanghai?

Transiting Shanghai January 28-Feb 1. Entering from Cambodia and flying to Tokyo or the US.

This is over 72 hours so I want to make sure the 114 hour policy is currently in effect.

Vernon, currently this policy does not take effect, except that the application for this policy has been approved by the State Council. However, you can expect it to go into effect by the end of Feburary. Please keep an eye on this website for the latest updating information.
