About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Am I eligible for the 72 hour visa transit from USA?

I really need help. I am planning on travelling to Israel from Chicago and would like to make a stop in Beijing to go visit a factory for 3-4 days in Cangzhou which I was told by my friend that on the "high rail" take 45 minutes and is 260kilometers away from Beijing. So my question is if I am eligible for this free transit? am i allowed to go to Cangzhou or can she pick me up from the airport?

Dianan, if you want to use the 72 hour free transit, you can only transit in one Chinese city and you cannot leave the city. If you stop over in Beijing and then want to go to Hebei, you should apply for a tourist L type or transit G type ahead of your trip.
