About:China Visa on Arrival

I know it is a 5 day visa but how does it work If I get to the border at 8am on 2nd February?

when would I have to leave?

Jenny, the 5 days count from the day following the issuing date of the VOA. If you enter on Feb. 2, you should leave on Feb. 7.
