s2 visa for china

Question

i had my s2 type for 6 months and got an extension for an additional 6 months without leaving mainland china. The extension expires around 18th april, 2016.Is it possible to get it extended or renewed form hong kong after it expired in april?or do i have to go to my home country india to renew it?

Leo, you can try to extend it at the exit and entry administration of the local PSB.It’s possible for you to renew it from HK, but if you don’t have residence permit in HK, it is not that easy.
