About:Hong Kong Visa Application

Visa Application to Hong Kong

I am a citizen of Belarus residing in Mainland China (Beijing) and I want to apply for a tourist entry permit to go to HK - I've been reading through the regulations and it still remains unclear to me - to apply for an entry permit do I need to go personally to the Immigration Division in Beijing or mail all my documents there? Also, it says the application will take four weeks. After the application is processed, do I go retrieve it personally or receive it by mail as well? Thank you for your help!

You can submit your application to the Immigration Division in Beijing personally or mail it to HK immigration department.
If you submit it to the Immigration Division in Beijing, you need to retrieve it by yourself; if it’s posted to HK, you can receive it by mail.

Thank you for your answer.
For whomever it may concern, I'd like to add that if you apply in person at the Immigration Division in Beijing, the application process takes only 3 working days, and not four weeks. Good luck everybody!
