For these destinations, you at least need to spare a weekend (two full days). You can start from Yuyuan Garden (metro station on line 10). Then walk along the Bund Avenue towards north and you can enjoy the scenery of Huangpu River. Standing at the bank, you can see the Oriental Pearl TV Tower, World Financial Center and Jinmao Tower on the opposite (for limited time, you may be unable to see them closely). Afterwards, move west along East Nanjing Road to roam around, which is right the famous pedestrian street. You may find a hostel nearby to stay overnight.

On the next day, walk around 15min to the museum. 2-3 hours are enough there. Then ask the locals about the exact boarding site of Express Huzhu Bus Line (at Pu'an Road Yan'an Road). The bus will take you to Zhujiajiao directly. Spend a large part of time there and get back to the town in the late afternoon: take bus Hushang Special Line near the ancient town and get off at Danshui Road West Jinling Road. Walk to Xintiandi within 3-5min, where you may have a good time in a bar or pub.

From the arrangement above, we can see you won't have enough to cover the Jade Buddha Temple. Perhaps it is wise to give it up. In addition, as I know, most attractions only have perferential policies for Chinese students. Anyway, you can take along your student card in case that it suits some spots.

Let me know if you have further concern. Good trip!
