Average Commute Time in Shenzhen

If I take a bus from Bao'an International Airport (SZX) to the main bus terminal, how long a commute (ride) could I expect it would be? If I want to a take a subway from the airport to the main terminal, do I take the Luo Bao Line (Line Number 1)? If not, what do I take and how long a commute could I expect it to be? And, if I want to go into Hong Kong from the city center, how long is the commute to the checkpoint if going by train/subway? And, I have heard that because of the massive number of people wanting to go into Hong Kong that the wait is in the hours - is that true? What can I expect? Thank you so much for your help.
