About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

Flying from 2 different airports in Shanghai, with two different airlines.

Hi,

I am flying from Copenhagen, Denmark to Shanghai, China (Pudong International), and departing 3 days later from Hongqiao International (SHA) to Vietnam, with a different airline company. Will I be able to enjoy the 72-hour free visa, when the tickets were bought independently, and when departing from another airport in Shanghai?

Neelam, you are still able to enjoy the 72 hour free transit as long as you hold the confirmed flight tickets to a third country or region. The tickets can be bought from different airlines. What's more, in Shanghai, you can land in one airport and depart from the other.
