About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

free transit available?

I arrive at 5:05p Wed, Jan 6 TAO Qingdao, SD, China from Korea.
And then I stay there for 14h 25m and leave at 7:30a for PVG Shanghai, SH at 8:55a on Thu, Jan 7 and stay in Shanghai, SH for 5h 30m
and then come back to Usa.
Do I need a visa to travel Qingdao?

Yvon, you don’t need to apply for it because your total layover time in PRC is less than 24 hours, you are eligible for the 24 hour direct transit.
