About:Chinese Embassy in Sri Lanka

The requirement for Visa to stay in China about 5-6 months for an independent quality verification.

I am G.Navaratna from Sri Lanka. I am a Management and Quality system Consultant and one european company who are in business with PRC has invited me to do an independant product quality verification audit for their products. The european company bears all my expenses including foods and lodging.
They prefer me to stay about 5 to 6 months initially.
I shall be very much grateful if you would kindly advise me about all the requirement and time taken for obtaining an entry permit. I have not visited PRC previously.

Hi, you should apply for business M type. The required documents can be shown as follows: your passport and its copy, the application form with a recently-taken bareheaded color photo, Invitation Letter of Duly Authorized Unit (original), an invitation letter from your trade partner in PRC, a covering letter from your company, less than three pages of the copy of your company bank statement as well as copy of Business Registration Certificate of your company.

But the embassy may require you to apply for work Z type because you need to stay for 5 to 6 months. In this way, excluding the above-mentioned documents, you also need to provide the work permit.
