About:Fuzhou Travel

Are there sleeping facilities for transit passengers at Fuzhou Airport?

I have a 15 hour stopover (arriving 18:20, departing 9:10).

As I know, VIP Lounges at the airport only serve for first-class passengers and business class passengers. If you hold economy class ticket, you can find a hotel nearby the airport. Fliport Inn Haibin Hotel is a good choice for you. The fare is CNY 400 to 500 per night. You can take some rest there. It's just located at the opposite of Terminal Building.

Thanks Sandy your response is very helpful. Yes, I am travelling economy. I assume I will need a travel visa to leave the transit lounge, if only to cross to the hotel.

A visa is unnecessary. Just apply for a 24h visa-free stay permit upon landing at the airport, and you can leave the transit area for the hotel thereafter.

How'd you go Geoff? Did you stay in a hotel, or was there a comfort place to nap in the airport?

Dear Brett, I stayed at the hotel mentioned by Sandy. It is quite comfortable. You can have a try, too. :)
