About:Chinese Consulate in Manchester

Shenzhen and Hong visit. can you advise what sort of visa we will need and what the cost will be?

Hello

My son is moving to Shenzhen in Jan 16 and myself and my husband plan to visit him in July. He has a z type. We will be flying to Hong Kong and travelling to him. Many thanks

Diane, UK passport holders can enjoy free entry to HK.
As for Shenzhen, you can apply for a 5-days VOA. It will cost CNY304. But if you want to stay longer, you can apply for S type. Your son can issue an invitation letter to you. With the letter and other required documents, you can apply for it.
