About:China Tourist Visa

Moving There For A Marriage.

If i was trying to go to china in order to marry somebody, what would i need to do in order to be allowed to go there without getting deported back? I would have gone a year ago if i could have just gone there and married them to solve that, but i've been getting sent around to different people and not given a clear answer for almost a year or so.

I have a passport and money for a ticket.
I was wanting to go to PRC to marry somebody to be with them.
They didn't go to the consulate or embassy about papers and such.
I never got replies when i tried to write to those places about that.
The girl wanted me to just buy the ticket and move there.

I was worried about getting sent back or not having a visa.
She offered to help me get a job after i went there if i did.
She also offered to be my as well as sponsor and host after i got there.

I don't know what to do.

Hello, Michael, according to what you said above, I think you can apply for a tourist L type to enter PRC first. You can ask her to issue an invitation letter to you. And you should get a single-status certificate from relevant local authorities. In addition, the certificate should be notarized and authenticated before you take it to PRC.
After your entry, you two can register your marriage in PRC.
