About:Beijing Weather in January

Can we buy cheap winter clothes for a day trip to Great Wall?

We plan on traveling from Hong Kong to Beijing for a day trip but are traveling light. Would buying cheap winter clothes to get by in china be a good idea?

Yes, it's a good idea to buy winter clothes when you arriving at BJ. You are suggested to go to Shiji Tianle International Clothes Wholesale Market. Lots of stores there sell down jackets and boots with good quality and cheap prices. It's located at No.28, South Outer Xizhimen Avenue, Xicheng District.
