About:Shanghai Transportation

somewhere during my layover in Shanghai to freshen up

We land at 7.30 from NZ and depart 13.50 to Frankfurt. Is there somewhere to shower - a lounge for transit passengers perhaps?

I tried booking Lounge 66 and 69 but there seems to be no service available

Will you land at Pudong Airport?
If yes, there is no shower facilities inside the airport. And as I know, the VIP lounges only accept first-class and businss-class passengers. So according to your situation, you are suggested to find a hotel to take a shower and have some rest. Dazhong Airpot Hotel is a good choice, which is right between T1 and T2.

Thanks Zoe - Travelling on NZ passports we have an automatic 72 hour Stopover Visa which allows us to exit the airport but we have such a short time there I suspect we wont be able to clear customs out and then back in again.

We'll give it a try though!
