First of all, the best place to see a panda is Panda Base indeed; however, the panda holding service has been suspended now and the reopening time is still unknown. Currently, only at the Dujiangyan Panda Valley can a tourist hold the cute creature. You may dial 86-028-87296600 to consult the holding things and reservation. You may take a high speed train from CD City to Dujiangyan and then take a taxi to the valley. To Leshan Giant Buddha, there are many direct buses at the Xinnanmen Bus Station. As they are in different directions, it is best to give up one. From Dujiangyan City, it is easy to take a bus or rent a car to Mt. Qingcheng. Let me know if you have more questions.
