About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

18 hrs lay over

Hi, I am U.S. Citizen travelling to Philippines with 18 hrs lay over to Pudong (fr.5:45am to 11:45pm) Do I need a China visa? Thank you.

Mary, you don't need it. If you plan to go outside and tour the city, you can just apply for a temporary stay permit at the immigration counter in Pudong Airport.
