About:China Business Visa

Accepting a job offer and changing from a student to a business visa.

Hi, currently I am studying on a student type which expires in Feb 2016.

I've been given an offer by a Chinese/ Hong Kong start up to come and work for them after my student type expires. My question is, how would I go about accepting the companies offer and changing from a student type to a business one? They are willing to pay for me to go to Hong Kong to apply etc, as they have various departments already based there.

It would probably need to be a multiple entry one also, as the job may require trips to Hong Kong.

Hey, Ciaran, you are advised to go to the exit and entry administration of the local PSB where your school is located to change your student X type to business M type. The first thing is to prepare the required documents including the application form, a recent color photo, your passport, an invitation letter from the company, as well as other materials required by the administration. Next, submit your application and wait for the result.
As for the number of entries, it is decided by the relevant officers according to the reasons you provide.
Dear, I think you had better apply for a work Z type rather than the business M type if you will work in PRC for a long time.
