About:China Transit Visa

Transit complexity

My (Return) flight is from Lahore to Guangzhou than i have to go to Hongkong via Mtr. i had a double entry Hk visa so i applied for a transit G type for China. now i am provided with a single entry transit G type. This means i can go to Hong Kong via mainland China but how can i come back? To return i also have to go via mtr to guangzhou, how will i go back if i have been granted a single entry? i am a pakistani passport holder.

Dear, you don't have to be bothered with this issue. As long as you transit in Guangzhou for less than 24 hours on your way back, you don't need the G type entry permit.

Yes, I’m sure. It’s because I have met the same circumstance before. I was told that PRC carries out the 24 hour direct transit policy. And this policy is applicable for people from any nationalities transiting in Chinese cities for less than 24 hours in total.
