About:China Transit Visa

Confirm the 72 hour Transit fee

I have got an answer there is no charge for the 72 hour transit visa but from the official information (copy here) please see there is the same charge as the tourist L type entry permit fee:

Transit visas are for persons who are staying for a short period while in transit between two other countries. You must have residency in the destination country or have a valid entry permit for it (if required). The fee appears to be the same as for a tourist L, so check whether you might as well get a tourist L instead.

Would like to make sure about the 72 hour transit fees.

Dear, the transit entry permit you mentioned above is completely different from the 72 hour free transit. The former refers to the transit G type. One needs to apply for G type when she/he cannot enjoy 72 hour free transit and doesn’t have other entry permit either. Anyone can apply for it.
But the 72 hour free transit is just applicable to people from 51 countries and it is free of charge.
