About:Kunming Metro

Time needed to catch train to Lijiang from Kunming International Airport

If I arrive at 5 pm on a Thursday at Changshui International Airport, will I have enough time to catch the second last train to Lijiang that departs at 9.48pm?

And I need to collect the train tickets at the station . And taking the shuttle bus from airport to KM railway station.

Yes, the time is enough for you. As I know, 1 hour is needed to check out, and another hour is needed to reach the railway station by shuttle bus line 2 or 6. Moreover, it takes about 30 minutes to collect the ticket (there is a queue sometimes). So, you can catch your train. Don't worry.
