About:Xia Dynasty

Did the Xia Dynasty use low-fired painted earthenware?

I have seen beautiful low-fired polychrome ceramics from the Langshan Culture in exhibits of Chinese archeology. I know that they preceeded the Xia Dynasty. Did they continue this tradition or did they develope new high-fired ceramics?

Earl, I think they still used low-fired earthenwares. Erlitou site in Henan Province is believed to have something to do with Xia. Grey and brown potteries were found there. High-fired ceramics (porcelain) wasn't found.
