About:Shanghai - Hong Kong Train

Train from HK to Beijing

We wanted to book train tickets from HK to Beijing on 6 January 2016.
Is it ok if we buy the Delux Soft Sleeper when we arrive in HK on the 6 January itself.
Any idea the chance of getting train tickets when we purchase few hours before departure of the train.

January should be the off season in Beijing. But it is still a little risky if you only able to do it a few hours in advance. Maybe you can ask some booking agents about the availability when the date is more approaching. If the ticket become very limited, you may able to change to a flight instead to continue your trip.
