Sri Lankan citizen with Canadian permanent Resident status_Transit Visa

Hi,

I would like to know if a Sri Lankan citizen who is also a Canadian PR travelling from Canada to SL and back would need a transit permit for Shanghai Pu Dong? Transit time is between 10-11 hrs.

Thanks.
TK

Dear, you don't need it. In case that you want to go out and tour the city, you can simply apply for a temporary stay permit at the airport in Shanghai. The stay permit is free of charge.
