How did the architecture of the Forbidden City contribute to the imprisonment of the Chinese rulers

Leaders are sometimes prisoners of their administrators and advisors. How did the architecture of the Forbidden City contribute to the imprisonment of the Chinese rulers

The Forbidden City is a symbol of the opulence that characterized thousands of years of dynastic Chinese rule. When you look at the rooms, gates, and halls, how do you think this design helped contribute to the fall of the last emperors?

Kyle, I don't think the fall of the emperors has something to do with the Forbidden City. If so, Emperors Kangxi and Qianlong couldn't rule the country very well. But the truth is that their reigns were regarded as the heyday of Qing Dynasty.

Besides, ancient Chinese people attached great importance to Fengshui. Fengshui theories must be applied when building the Forbidden City. So it shouldn't impact the rulers negatively.
