how long should i stay at wuhan?

This is my first time visiting, and I am unsure of how long should I stay there. Could you give a recommended duration of stay please? I am looking to visit the places of attraction at a leisurely place, while visiting Daye City as well, so I am not sure how much time I should allocate. Also, could you let me know what I should prepare for if I come in end Dec/early Jan please? I understand that it will be cold, and visibility is limited.

About the weather, the temperature may range from 40 F to 50 F. It will be cold and moist.
