About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

Traveller holding passport from Chile, travelling from Singapore to Shanghai, round trip

Hi,

I'm living in Singapore for almost a year and I'm holding a passport from Chile.
I want to travel from Singapore to Shanghai for 3 days, then fly back from Shanghai to Singapore (round trip).
Am I eligible for the 72-hour Visa-free Transit permit?
If not, as a Chilean citizen, am I required to apply for a standard entry permit?

Regards,
Ivan

Ivan, if you fly directly from Singapore to Shanghai and then return to Singapore, you can't enjoy the free pass policy and you need to get a regulare entry permit in advance.
