About:Urumqi

Can I visit family in H.K. for 2 weeks on 20/12 if Aust Passport due for renewal in March 2016

Airline pre-booked. Did not realise the 6/12 passport requirement till now. May not be possible to renew & receive a new passport delivered to Townsville before the 18th Dec.? or can I use current one?
