About:China Tourist Visa

Do you have to book flights and hotels prior to tourist visa application? Also see below

I am staying in Spain for three months but travelling to Thailand but would like to visit Shanghai for a few days during our Thailand stay (as our son is there for a year). Can we get our Chinese entry permits in Spain?

Yes, you can apply from the CVASC office in Madrid.
If you do not have an invitation letter from China, you have to book flight and hotels prior to submiting the application. The booking orders are required for submission.
