baggage allowance for bullet train

1. Is it allowed to take baggage into the bullet carriage? what is the limit? how about if there are too much large baggage that must taken? Is it kept in the same room with passenger or kept in baggage cabin? is it same process in the station (check in kept the baggage until boarding) with travel by plane in airport?
2. when we must get arrived to the station before departure? from buy ticket until waiting for the ride? how long the time to finish the process it all?
3. are there any routes for bullet from nanning and guilin to the other cities which not taking long time and affordable to visit?

It is different to the airport. There is no baggage carriage or cabin on the bullet, you need to take your luggage with you, if your luggage is too large, you could put them at the end of the carriage (there are racks for large luggages).

You need to get to the station at least 1.5 hour in advance during the normal days, if your travel is during holiday, you need to go to the station several hours in advance. While if you already booked the tickets or if you already have the paper tickets, then you could get to the station 30-40 min in advance.
