Skiing in Beijing

Hi, my husband and I will be in BJ for 5 days at the end of January (before heading to japan to snowboard). We would like to go snowboarding for a day, which ski area is easily accessible from downtown? Also, is it easy enough to hire boots for large/western feet?!

Jundu Mountain Ski Resort is recommended. It's about 35 miles (55 miles) away from the city center. For saving time, you can just take a taxi to there directly. The ticket fare is CNY 150 to 160 for the single trip. This ski resort has well service facilities. So you will find suitable boots. Don't worry.
