business visit for indian citizens working in mauritius

Question

Hi my boss is of Indian nationality with a working permit living in Mauritius. He is going to china for a business meeting. What are the documents he will need?

If he works there, he should have valid resident permit for employment. Then I think he should be able to apply from Chinese embassy there. Aside from his passport, application form and passport photo, he should also submit the invitaion letter from the meeting host and resident permit (original and copy versions).
