About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

I will be arriving by cruise ship in Shanghai at 8am and have flight out at 1130 pm same day.

Can I get a transit 24 hr. Visa at the port in Shanghai? Or do I have to apply for one before the cruise.

Yes, you can get it upon arrival and you don't need to apply for it before the cruise.
