Question concerning authentication

I have a question about the authentication procedure of a college diploma. I live in Connecticut and have had a copy of the degree notarized at a local bank. Do I still need to send notarized copies to a county clerk and the Secretary of State in Connecticut prior to bringing it to the Consulate for authentication? Thank you in advance for your kind assistance. Bill Hutchinson

Yes, Bill, before you bring the document to New York Consulate for authentication, you need to send the notarized copies to a county clerk and Secretary of State in Connecticut.
