Hello, i am indian passport holder, can i travel china within six month validity passport

I received my L visa of PRC on 24th nov 2015. But now i want to travel 09th dec 2015 to 15th dec 2015 for tourist. my passport is valid till 01jun2016. Can i travel without any difficulty if not than if i will renew passport and travel on old L type on old passport or i have to reapply?
