About:How to Travel to China without a Visa

Canadian Traveller has a 12 hr layover in Beijing

Hello I am from Canada and will have a 12 hr layover in Beijing. I would like to do a little sight seeing, is the Direst transit all I need or do I need to get the 72hr one?

Morgan, you just need to apply for the 24 hour direct transit if you plan to fly to a third country or region after 12 hour transit in Beijing. You need to apply for a temporary stay permit if you want to leave the airport.
