About:Chinese Consulate in Lagos

can i use hotel if i did not have invitation to apply for tourist visa?

And can it be possible to book appointment for someone?

Hey, if you can't provide the invitation letter, then you should submit your hotel booking confirmation and round-trip air tickets.

Yes, you can go to Chinese embassy/consulate between 15:00 and 17:00 on Tuesday and Thursday to make an appoinment in person. If the applicant can't come in person, he/she can assign someone else to make the appointment.
