1. Well, it's not necessary for you to join in tour and go to OCT East.
The transportation is not that complicated. You can take direct long-distance bus operated by Eternal East Bus Group at Metroplaza and get off at the destination. The bus schedules is at 08:10. It costs 75 HKD per person. From Repulse Bay to Metroplaza, take bus no.40 to Tang Lung Street, Hennessy Road and take Island Line to Central Station. Then transfer to Tung Chung Line to Lai King Station and Tsuen Wan Line to Kwai Fong Station, Exit E. After that, walk northwest around 120 yards (100 meters).
2. What's the budget about your accommodation? Actually, there aren't have many hotels nearby. Oct East Cargo Hostel is a good choice for you. The price is CNY 400 to 500 per night.
