About:Former Residence of Lu Shaoxu

work permit canceled, but residence permit still valid, can i travel with it?

Dear,
I left the job and boss canceled the working permit, but my visa is valid (residence permit) can i travel on it or not from outside to mainland.

yes you can travel on it within mainland and also travel to Pakistan.

It's really hard to say. Your boss can't cancel your resident permit. However, he can report your situation to local entry and exit management bureau. The bureau can cancel your resident permit without prior notice.

If you already quit, you should go to the bureau and try to change your resident permit to a temporary tourist type if you plan to stay. That's what you should do.
