s2 visa renewel

Question

My wife traveled with S2 type and after arriving we apply for her S2 renewal in PSB when it was about to expire, my question is can we apply for S2 renewal again from China Mainland without exiting, and is the renewed S2 for single or double entry.?

Faisal, you can try to renew it again but I personally think it's hard to get another renewal. And if your S2 type has only one entry on it, it will expire once you leave China. In case that you have to exit and reapply, I advise you to apply for an S1 type or a multiple-entry S2 type if possible, which are more convenient for you.
