About:Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport

Hey, I am planning to go to Melbourne and would like to stop in Guangzhou for a day :D

I found a flight which takes me from Berlin (where i live) /Amsterdam/CAN/Melbourne with a 14 h stop at CAN airport. was wondering if I could actually exit the airport with a 24h visa? I am Romanian. thank you

Oh, you must refer to the 24h visa free transit. Yes, your case suits. During your layover, just apply for a stay permit from the inspection counter and you will be allowed to exit for a short visit in downtown area.

So there is nothing I can do before I arrive there? I can simply get it from there? Do you know how much it would cost? Thank you, Andreea

Just fill in the embarkation/disembarkation card before landing and then easily get the Stay Permit at the inspection counter. The procedure is simple and no need to worry. In addition, the fare is free of charge. :-)
